Thank you… we couldn’t have done it without you

A million dollars to support Vancouver’s vulnerable kids! Such a wonderful goal to have during this uncertain spring. And a goal we know we can reach because we have you – a caring community of donors.

Almost 20 years ago, CLICK co-founders Catherine Atyeo and Alva Jenson recognized that too many children in Vancouver were going without the basics of life – basics that all children deserve and need to help them reach their full potential.  CLICK was formed and officially launched in 2004. Our small, dynamic and hard-working volunteer group engaged the community – and the community responded and has continued to respond. That first year, CLICK disbursed $6,000 to grassroots programs. Fast forward to 2021 and we are on track to reach a total of $1 million disbursed, supporting hundreds of programs helping thousands of children in our city!!

CLICK couldn’t have reached this milestone without the generous support of many, many people and organizations who share our passion to help the one in five children living in poverty in Vancouver. From an anonymous donor giving $5 every month, to five-figure donations from sustaining donors, big-hearted Vancouverites are showing what a truly caring community can do for kids who desperately need our help.

And we know that the COVID-19 pandemic – still a major threat to health and welfare – has hit working poor families in Vancouver the hardest. Help is needed more than ever.

So a huge thanks to you, our supporters, for bringing CLICK to this milestone – one that has so much meaning for so many children in our city.

Stay well…

Brenda
